We are Playdead, an independent game company based in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. We have made two critically acclaimed titles, LIMBO and INSIDE. Our current project is a 3rd-person science fiction adventure set in a remote corner of the universe.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate material and texture artist with strong artistic and technical skills to join our team in Copenhagen. You will be responsible for designing, enhancing and creating materials and textures for an immersive 3rd-person, open-world game. You will build and set up high quality materials in Unreal Engine and collaborate with the art team and other departments to prototype materials and ensure continuity with visual style, consideration on game performance and overcome technical restraints in the pipeline.
This role is located at the Playdead office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
